I know what you're thinking -- "What reefs feature?" If your next thought is "What's a reef?" then I suggest you save yourself the embarrassment and keep that thought to yourself. (Or do what everyone else does and hit up Wikipedia.) Anyway, some of you know that I spent all of March and most of April putting together a feature for Mobile Bay magazine on Mobile's artificial reefs. (And by "some of you" I pretty much just mean my immediate family and our dog.) The piece was scheduled to be published in the June issue. If you purchased a copy of MBM this month, you were no doubt horrifically disappointed upon realizing that my feature was nowhere to be found. (Trust me, I looked. It's not there.) As is often the case when working with finicky editors (I hope they're not reading this post), the feature has been rescheduled for the August "Land, Sea & Air" issue. (I think this is a new theme for the magazine, but I'm not sure. I just work there.) So remember to buy a copy of the August issue and check out my feature "Exploring Our Artificial Reefs." You can also find us online, in the iTunes App Store and at over 130 local distribution spots and retail outlets in Mobile and Gulf Shores. Of course, this could all be irrelevant in a month.
