A few days ago, I wrote up a post about Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s utterly absurd defense of the infanticidal criminal organization known as Planned Parenthood. Warren, like most of her fellow progressive liberal companions in Washington, views the conservative movement to defund Planned Parenthood as an all-out assault on women’s rights and, more specifically, women’s healthcare. Of course, this is delusional. As I, and many other opinion writers, columnists, bloggers and reporters have recently pointed out, Planned Parenthood really couldn’t care less about the women who walk through the doors of their abortion mills and baby-murdering factories, er, I mean, “health clinics.” As far as these psychotic butchers are concerned, women are nothing more than money-making commodities. Moreover, Republicans aren’t even remotely attempting to “defund women’s health centers.” This is an intentional generalization or, as we here on planet Earth usually say, a blatant lie. Republicans are seeking to defund abortion. Period.
Since posting that first piece, a lot of you have messaged me on Facebook and Twitter asking that I pen a separate post dealing with the hypocrisy of the radical feminist movement in regards to their defense of Planned Parenthood — a hypocrisy that I really only mentioned in passing the first time around when I said this:
You know, the rich irony here is that the same progressives, liberals and feminists who condemn men for objectifying women are the same ones defending an organization that views and treats women like commodities.” -- Josh Givens 9/19/2015
It’s rare that I quote myself. But it’s fun, so I did. It’s also rare that I agree to write follow-ups or elaborations, particularly if I feel that I covered a topic in full. Also, I initially didn’t see any need to pick a fight with feminism here as I’ve been quite outspoken in the past about why the modern feminist movement is nothing more than a cultural plague — a rotting corpse of ideology that reeks of moral depravity and utter stupidity. It has nothing of worth or value to offer society. I mean, unless you see any value in teaching little girls to drop f-bombs on camera, lying about gender pay gaps, or blaming men for virtually everything.
But, sometimes, material presents itself. As you may have recently heard, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was enjoying a nice little campaign tailgating party in Iowa City over the weekend, until a bunch of pro-abortion Planned Parenthood feminists showed up with protest signs and starting hurling condoms at Mrs. Fiorina and her supporters. You know, because nothing says “I’m a tolerant and mature adult capable of rational thought and discussion” than using sexual contraceptives as projectile assault weapons.
Anyway, the whole thing was caught on cell phone video and needless to say, these women made complete fools of themselves. Obviously, they’re pissed at Fiorina for her controversial comments about abortion during the first GOP presidential debate and pissed at conservatives in general for seeking to defund Planned Parenthood altogether. Ah, the tolerance of the left. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Now, to be fair, there were a few men among the protesters. It might have been hard for folks to distinguish them from the ladies, considering that these guys were sporting the same pink T-shirts as the girls. But, as Planned Parenthood is largely defended by ultra-liberal women and radical feminists and as abortion is largely seen as a “women’s right’s issue” by those on the Left, I think it’s important to address the controversy with that in mind.
You see, this is one of the many points at which feminists have decided to contradict their own ideology and, as far as I can tell, they don’t even seem to care. The double-standard here is almost laughable.
Feminists constantly preach the need for society to establish equal political, economic, personal and cultural rights for women. (All of which they already have, so I’m not sure what’s left to preach about, but I digress.) A lot of feminists have also worked to promote bodily autonomy, sexual individuality, freedom of sexual expression and to protect girls from rape, sexual harassment and domestic violence. But, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t demand that society respect women while simultaneously acting disrespectfully. You can’t promote respect using disrespectful techniques. The minute you start catapulting rubber johnnies at your opponents, you immediately forfeit any right to be listened to and your opinion is rendered meaningless. This isn’t the behavior of a mature adult. It’s the behavior of a petulant child who’s just thrown his toy dump truck at his little sister.
Is this really the face of feminism? Temper tantrums and childish vindictiveness?
Furthermore, it is astonishingly hypocritical for a movement that claims to champion womanhood and female individuality to simultaneously defend an organization that — by the admission of its own former director — treats women like money-making opportunities. For Planned Parenthood, a pregnant 14-year-old girl isn’t seen as a unique individual in need of help, hope and love. She’s seen as a profitable business transaction. A product. A means to an end. Nothing more. As I’ve said multiple times in previous posts, Planned Parenthood does not care about women.
If they did, they wouldn’t be in the abortion business in the first place and they sure as hell wouldn’t be pressuring pregnant women to murder their unborn children. And for all of you liberals who are just itching to get to the comment section below and lecture me on the “science” of abortion, here’s my advice in short: Don’t. Just…don’t. You’ll end up making yourself look like an idiot and honestly, the science is settled — abortion terminates a human life:
Just in case it’s unclear: this is all happening within the first trimester, which is, sadly, the least controversial period for an abortion according to fanatical feminists and those on the progressive Left in America. And in case you’re wondering what sort of baby-killing methodologies and techniques are used — and that feminists so passionately defend, whether they’re educated and researched enough to know it or not — here are just a few:
Approximately 3,000 babies are murdered using these techniques every day in the United States.
One million babies per year.
That’s 55,000,000 — yes, fifty-five million — murdered children since Roe v. Wade.
This is what feminism defends. This is what they call “a woman’s right to choose.” This is what they call “women’s health.” This is what they defend so passionately that they’re willing to hurl condoms at a presidential candidate and her supporters. Are you uncomfortable yet? Disgusted? Nauseous? Good.
Once again, feminism has reared its ugly head, ripped off its mask and revealed itself for all the world to see: a hideous, depraved, morally and ethically-bankrupt monstrous ideological entity with no redeeming values or qualities. That’s feminism. Whatever hope there once was for this movement has long since vanished from the face of the Earth. Of course, I’m sure that I’ll receive the usual hate-mail from folks determined to educate me by saying that, despite its flaws, feminism still promotes positive messages like: ‘don’t rape women,’ ‘ women are equal to men’ and ‘sexism is bad.’ It’s funny though — do we really need feminism to tell us that you shouldn’t assault a woman or that gender discrimination is wrong? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
Modern feminism has done far more harm than good and has outlived what little usefulness it ever had. I think the actions of these women in Iowa speak for themselves. Feminism is so determined to engage in knee-jerk reactions, so determined to twist every human rights issue or social issue into a man vs. woman drama or society vs. woman drama, that it continuously and unapologetically contradicts itself.
It continuously aligns itself with the death-cult of abortion.
And, apparently it doesn't care.
